Hello Editcrunch forum,

I just wanted to let you know what I think of my new Jag35E DOF adapter!
I've been filming with it for about a week now and I'm actually not to satisfied with it. It's not that it don't work, but there's just way to much vignitting for my likning. And yes, it has been zoom as much as possible.

Here's a screenshot:

I'll keep using it and hopefully find out a way to tone the vignitting down so it's not that noticable.

Oh, and the thing about the image is flipped upside down isn't that really much of a problem if you're filming on a tripod.

Hi Simon,

It's a shame that there's alot of vignetting - my only suggestion would be that you try zooming abit further but I am sure you have already tried this!?

Do you have a warrentee or garentee with the Jag35?  Are you able to return it?

Yes, I tried to zoom it as much as possible. But it gets to a point where it's not able to set the focus.

I've been having so much trouble with getting it to my address, it took over a month from when I ordered it. I don't know if it's possible for me to return it, I actually don't think so but I'll look into that.

I guess if you have to get yourself a DOF adapter it has to be the more expensive ones like Letus og M2. I just don't have the money for these right now.

Yes, there's the old saying "You get what you pay for"

M2 redrock still doesnt have the flip prism, so my money is on Letus Mini all the way - but only if you can afford that.

We hope you are able to fix your problem, and let us know if we can help you, or how you get on with it in the future.

Regards,
